All theme dinners are a 4 course prix fixe for $68 with $39 optional wine pairing, unless otherwise noted.

April 4 - Subject To Change Wine Company
The 4 friends who started STC produce all natural wines with a focus on single vineyard, organic and/or biodynamically farmed grapes. Vibrant, quirky, terroir-driven; their output perfectly complements the slow food approach to cooking you’ll find in this very special four course dinner.

May 2 - King of Mushrooms
The Bay Area’s King of Mushrooms has long been a top sustainable wild food purveyor with a tight network of fungaioli mushroom hunters that makes it THE source for the finest quality “forest to table” products from around the world. Our menu will focus on the joys of foraging via 4 courses of delicious combinations enhanced by an out-of-the- ordinary wine pairing option.
June 6 - Liberty Farms Duck & Raft Wines
Liberty’s strain of Pekin Duck are raised in a humane open environment with a minimum of intrusion. They are antibiotic and hormone free and fed a grain diet that produces what Hillside’s chefs believe are the most flavorful duck in the country. With optional wine pairing from Raft Wines, a related family enterprise, this dinner is bound to be “just ducky” in every sense of the word.
July 11 - “Water 2 Table” Seafood
(NOTE- This is the second Wednesday in the month to avoid conflict with the July 4 holiday)
Water2Table provides the Bay Area’s top restaurants with the freshest local fish, provided by small commercial fisherman and “weekend warriors.” This meal pays tribute to their love and respect for all things aquatic.
August 1 - Tatomer Wine
Tatomer’s bone-dry Riesling or its Grüner Veltliner represent the best that the Central Coast wine country offers. Located in Santa Barbara County, these sustainably farmed grapes produce wines that are the essence of their terroir.
September 5- Southern Italy
Hillside’s late summer tribute to Italy could be called “Land of Our Fathers” given our heritage. Drawing on the bounty of local family farms for peak, micro-seasonal produce, this dinner is a deeply personal one where one can expect the love of the land to shine through.
October 3- Tcho Chocolate
Working directly with farmers and cooperatives, Tcho positions its chocolate in terms of the flavor profile rather than by cacao % or bean origin. All to be highlighted in a meal sure to please whether you are a chocoholic or not with a wine pairing designed to enhance the experience.
November 7 - Hudson Valley Foie Gras
For nearly 30 years, Hudson Valley has produced the country's highest quality foie gras and moulard duck products via humane practices. In adherence with California law, this 4-course menu offers up a wide range of culinary flavors and unexpected combinations.
Monday, December 31 - New Years Eve
Ring in the New with a delectable 4 course menu of special treats plus an amuse to start that will go perfectly with a glass of bubbly.
